Human rights groups have launched legal action seeking the cancellation of former Rwandan general and suspected war criminal Faustin Kayumba Nyamwasa’s refugee status in South Africa.
The Consortium for Refugees and Migrants in South Africa have launched a court case seeking the withdrawal of refugee status from former Rwandan General Faustin Kayumba Nyamwasa, they believe that South African government has violated international law and increases the likelihood of South Africa being used as a safe haven by perpetrators of mass crimes and human rights abuses.
