Let's hear it for Queen's Day

The Netherlands' Queen's Day is an annual nationwide street party. All the more so in 2012, thanks to the sunny weather and the nation in good spirits. The grown-ups have had their overnight concerts and festivals; the daytime is for the children.
Bring out your instrument and let the world hear how good you are! The money that the young outdoor performers collect is often donated to good causes. And nearly everyone, of course, is dressed in the national colour orange, or the red, white and blue of the Dutch flag.
