The signs are that Royston Drenthe will soon be moving to Milan. The versatile midfielder, who plays in Spain for Hércules CF on loan from Real Madrid, told a Dutch TV talk show on Monday evening that negotiations are underway “with a top team in Italy.”
Drenthe refused to be drawn on the name of the club, but Dutch pundits believe it’s either Inter or AC Milan.
The former Feyenoord left-footer’s contract with Real Madrid expires next year. During the winter break, Juventus reportedly showed interest in signing the player, but failed to reached agreement with Real.
