Holland manager Bert van Marwijk has picked 23 players for the preliminary national football squad which will tour Latin America in early June. They include debuting goalkeepers Tim Krul (Newcastle United) and Jasper Cillessen (NEC Nijmegen).
New Ajax signing Theo Janssen (formerly FC Twente), Rafael van der Vaart (Tottenham Hotspur) and Mark van Bommel (AC Milan) have called off with injuries. Demy de Zeeuw (Ajax) will be missed too.

On Friday, Manager Van Marwijk called up goalkeeper Jelle ten Rouwelaar (NAC Breda) to replace Michel Vorm (FC Utrecht), who injured his hand during a training session. X-ray showed two fractures in his right hand.

Holland are to play two friendly matches on the continent. The first, against Brazil, is scheduled at the 54,000-seat Estádio Serra Dourada in Goiânia on 4 June. Four days later, Oranje will play Uruguay at the 66,000-seat Estadio Centenario in Montevideo.
