Dutch Music Monday: 29 August

8. Sterker nu dan ooit (Stronger now than ever) – Nick & Thomas
9. Kijk me na (Watch me) – Keizer & De Munnik
This must be something of a first: two separate duos who have temporarily parted ways and found each other. Confused? Don’t worry, you’re not the only one. Here we have Nick & Simon and Acda & De Munnik, who have both been successful for years. Now, Nick Schilder and Thomas Acda have joined forces for their duet “Sterker nu dan ooit”, while Simon Keizer and Paul de Munnik have done the same with “Kijk me na”. It’s all part of a gimmick in the wake of a series of arena concerts by Nick & Simon in October, where Acda & de Munnik will feature as “special guests”.

10. Took a hit – Racoon
While “No mercy” is STILL at the top of our top ten (13 weeks and counting!), Racoon has now finally released a follow up to that smash, called “Took a hit”. Will it be as big as “No mercy”?
