9. Birds – Chef’Special
Chef’Special is a band from Haarlem, playing a melting pot of funk, rap, rock and pop, modelled after bands like the Red Hot Chili Peppers or The Roots. Yet, their quirky style makes them very Dutch as well. They’re currently featured on a popular Dutch daily talkshow as its ‘house band’, which has boosted their exposure. A fast food snack or a wholesome multi-course meal? This Chef’Special offers the latter.
