More than half of Mexico votes to be recounted

Mexico's national election authority on Wednesday announced a recount of 54.5 percent of the votes cast in the country's presidential election.Edmundo Jacobo, a top official with the Federal Electoral Institute (IFE), made the announcement one day after leftist candidate Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador, who came in second in the presidential race Sunday, demanded a full vote recount, claiming that the results were "fraudulent."
