Obama slams 'offensive' remarks, insists: 'Rape is rape'

US President Barack Obama on Monday slammed a Republican lawmaker who had questioned whether a "legitimate rape" can lead to pregnancy, and defended his own campaign's stance on abortion law."Well, first of all the views expressed were offensive. Rape is rape, and the idea we should be parsing and qualifying and slicing what types of rape we are talking about doesn't make sense to the American people," he said.
